Warm your hearts, join in song, stay for a cuppa tea.
We think of Kirtan as singing yoga. It's a way to connect with community and the Divine through the Universal, ancient and powerful sounds of the Sanskrit language. Kirtan can be profoundly healing, uplifting, and just plain fun! In today's times, we don't often find opportunity to sing in community and this provides a really approachable yet deep way to join our voices in a really positive way.
We'll gather around 5:30pm, sing/chant together for about 45 mins - hour (Annie Watson will be leading Kirtan with her harmonium) and break to enjoy hot tea together at 7pm ish.
-friends and family (kids so very welcome!)
-instruments if you have them
-cozy blankets, pillows if you'd like!
-an optional $10 donation for kirtan
We'll let you know if we're gathering in the yurt or the farmhouse!
